My Heart & Home

It has been said that strong marriages lead to strong families, and strong families lead to strong societies. I believe this with all my heart and that is why Homes of Glory begins in our home. All of our life and ministry flow from our home, which, for this season, happens to be a church manse, tucked in the tropical yet bustling metropolis of Manila in Southeast Asia. Though all the way across the world from our home of origin states of Montana and Alabama in the USA, this is the place we call home and where we are raising our 4 children in the rich and culturally diverse setting of the Philippines. 

I started out my career in broadcast journalism, but today, I serve in full time ministry together with my husband, Noah, who is a pastor, at an international church in Manila. Amidst the myriad of hats I wear as wife, mom, minister, writer, speaker, coach, daughter, sister and friend, my singular aim is to ignite passionate faith in hearts and homes, that they may be able to stay grounded and growing in the things of God in a world competing for our time and attention. I love thinking of new ways to encourage and inspire families to put God first amidst the demands of their busy lives, and how – through meaningful rhythms and habits – they can choose daily to structure their lives and their homes around what matters most – no matter what season they are in.

Under the umbrella of Homes of Glory, I seek to provide an array of biblical and practical resources for individuals and families to equip them to stay radically grounded and growing in the things of God so they may shine His radiant light in this dark world. I offer one-one-one and group coaching for women, expats and families through my home-based coaching business to help them to discover their “why” and how to live it out. I am an author and speak at churches, conferences and retreats. I love to connect with my readers and followers through my weekly Substack newsletter, Homes of Glory, where you can subscribe below.
