Welcome! I am so glad you stopped by.
I have always loved the idea of seeing life as a journey. There are twists and turns, dreams and disappointments, longings and losses that come to us all along the road of life. In the midst of this fast-paced world, we can often grow weary, losing sight of who we are, what is most important and where we are even headed. We settle for running through life on “empty” without a gas station in sight.
That is where this little virtual space can come in. My hope is that it can serve as that much needed “pit stop” on the horizon, a safe place to pull over so you can refuel, refresh, reset and revive your weary heart and wandering soul. We can do it together. As a wife of a pastor, mom of four young children and an overachieving personality, I need regular refueling and refreshment as much as anyone.
Here, I see myself not as an expert on any one particular subject, but as a fellow traveller on the road of life. I like to share insights that God is teaching me in each season in the hopes that it will encourage someone in theirs.
I’m curious, where are you at this point in your journey? Join me, it may be just the time to fuel up.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
– matthew 11:28-30

Detecting God’s Voice in a Noisy World: Part III

Detecting God’s Voice in a Noisy World: Part II
What does God’s voice sound like? We all crave for that audible voice thundering down from heaven in a boisterous, “Thus sayeth the Lord!” kind of way. But according to Scripture, God’s voice comes to us via the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us that since Jesus came,...
